In between times we have the potential to develop bad habits; symptoms include- tense limbs, loss of bounce or, dare I say it\u2026 sloppy triple steps, eek!<\/p>\n<p>A triple step can cause problems in leading\u00a0<strong>AND<\/strong>\u00a0following. If they\u2019re not well articulated, your partner won\u2019t be able to tell what you\u2019re leading or, will have a harder job trying to lead you.<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t necessarily know if our basic steps are neat, precise and rhythmic; so we need someone to come and tidy them up for us.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Brush up workshops\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lindy-jazz.co.uk\/dance_home\/whats_on\/brush_up.htm\" target=\"_blank\">\u2018Brush Up\u2019 workshops<\/a>\u00a0are like a private lesson shared by a small group. As your teachers, this gives us time to look at your dancing, dance with you and provide tailored advice.<\/p>\n<p>As a dancer it\u2019s an opportunity to ask the questions you\u2019ve never asked in class. Helping you to identify simple things that could have a huge impact on your dancing.<\/p>\n<p>So, even if you think triple steps are something you\u2019ve done before, brushing up your basics can help build strong foundations for your dancing to grow on.<\/p>\n<p>Go on, brush up your dancing skills!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I believe there are 2 ways to learn to dance: We can fill our brains with information in the hope that the more we have, the better our dancing will become.
